Recipe: Carrot & Apricot Bliss Balls

Did you know that you can make a healthy and tasty snack in just 4 steps – 5 if you include devouring them!

These carrot and apricot bliss balls from our Preschool menu are always a hit! They’re also the perfect recipe to encourage little ones into the kitchen. Let them get their hands messy by rolling the batter into small balls. Don’t worry if they’re not all the same size, or don’t look perfectly round – they’ll still taste great! 

Carrot & Apricot Bliss Balls (makes 25):

  • 200g dried apricots
  • 30g chia seeds
  • 100ml freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 75g rolled oats
  • 70g grated carrot
  • 60g desiccated coconut (reserve half for rolling)
  • 1tsp cinnamon

Method :

  1. Combine all the ingredients together in a food processor, reserving half of the coconut for rolling
  2. Blitz the combine into a sticky consistency
  3. Form into balls approx. 2cm wide with clean hands
  4. Roll each ball in the remaining coconut
  5. Store in the fridge and enjoy!
